A system name which includes characters special to the shell is
accepted and causes the generated system to be linked to the driver
under an incorrect name or not at all when using a precompiled library
and melting the system.  A system name which includes characters
special to `make' is accepted and results in an error in `make' when
the finish_freezing step is executed after freezing the system.
