A class has an attribute `x' of type `LINKED_LIST [like weasel]',
where weasel is of type `LINKED_LIST [STRING]'.  A reference to the
first item of the first list in `x', which is of the form `x.i_th
(1).i_th (1)' causes termination of the compiler after pass 3 on the class.
